What a Difference a Day Makes

Wow! 24 hours ago I was a nervous wreck, and so was Alex. He had his driving test yesterday morning - and passed! He is pretty happy about this, and to me it seems like he is suddenly an adult. Life is going to be quite different around here, now that he can get himself around. As for me, I don't want to see that driver testing centre ever again. You can just feel all the anxiety in there as you walk in! We went out to White Spot to celebrate. However, with the heavy rain we agreed it wouldn't be a good idea for him to drive to the swim last night.
Other news: Caleigh is 18 now, another incredible fact!
Heather should be back on Saltspring now, having finished her lookout duty for this year. She has a place she'll be sharing with her friend, and a job at the day care lined up too.
